Automated emails help you keep track of work as it gets done in your firm. They improve communication and efficiency in your firm and provide a good audit trail. To view the alerts that you can enable, click Settings > Practice Management > General Settings, then click the Automated emails tab.
There are two types of alerts, daily and instant:
- Daily task email alerts run at night, as part of a daily task scheduled to make updates in the system. You will receive daily notifications in your inbox informing you what those tasks were.
- Instant automatic email alerts are triggered by an event in the system, the email is sent as soon as the event happens, for example a comment is posted in a job and all allocated resources get an instant email. You can choose to enable or disable these alerts, and for some of the alerts you can specify who is the recipient.
